Room guides welcome visitors to Scotney Castle, National Trust in Lamberhurst and answer any questions that may arise. They uncover items of our hidden collection, help visitors to discover more and may lead tours and talks around the house. You don’t need to know the history of the universe, but as a room guide you’ll pick up lots of facts and figures about Scotney Castle and will have help on hand to answer any questions. All we ask is you’re available at least once a fortnight. In return, we offer flexible schedules, agreed expenses, discounts in the shop and tearoom after 50 hours of volunteering, plus a fun, social place to work.
Scotney Castle is a country house, romantic garden, 14th century moated castle – all in a beautiful wooded estate.
