For several years The SevenoaksCFR Charity (Reg charity number 1160252) has been installing and maintain Public Access Defibrillators in the Sevenoaks District, and we now look after over 50 in the local towns and villages. In addition we provide free training to over 600 people a year in how to use them and how to do good CPR and basic first aid. The groups can range from local parishioners , through to scouts, guides, brownies, beaver groups, cycling clubs and WI’s. We raise all our own funding through bucket collections, donations from businesses and individuals. This year we have signed an agreement with Kent Fire and Rescue to help their free public training efforts. We are now looking for new team members to get involved. Commitment could be as little as a couple of hours a month. We have a variety of opportunities to get involved from fundraising through to publicity and training.
