Friends of Rede Common manage Rede Common nature reserve in Strood.
Volunteers meet on the third Saturday of the month between 10:00am and midday at the hard standing at Thurston Drive. They participate in different activities from cutting down dead trees and planting wild flowers to sweeping leaves from pathways and picking up litter. Tools and refreshments are provided.
It does not matter if you are not super fit or highly skilled as there is always someone to show you how to do things. Come along and give us a try, we are a friendly bunch. Contact us or just turn up!
