Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership is a multi-academy trust of 24 catholic academies across Kent.
We currently have a number of places for individuals with specific skill-sets to join our governing bodies and academy committees as Co-Opted Governors.
Co-Opted governors are recruited based on their skills and experience to add to our existing skill set of governors, we would be very interested to hear from you if you are able to dedicate your time and skills to undertake a monitor, support and challenge role to our Academy leaders to ensure that pupils are being offered the best education. More information can be found in the Governor Role Description, attached.
We would be interested to hear from you if you have previous governor experience, or if you specialise in finance, health & safety, safeguarding, have worked in the education sector or are /have been a teacher within another school or academy.
Governing Body and Academy Committee meetings are usually held in the evenings at the respective Academy and last approximately 2-3 hours, meetings are held at least 4 times per annum.
We have 24 academies based across Kent, 19 primary and 5 secondary. You can find out more about each Academy by visiting the KCSP website (here). If you wish to discuss the role in more detail before applying, please contact Michelle Boniface, Company Secretary, 01622 232662.
