Cutbush and Corrall is a long established charity with 148 almshouses providing self-contained accommodation for beneficiaries that need the Charity’s support. Primarily, beneficiaries are older people that have financial, social or health issues that make it difficult for them to satisfy their own housing needs.
Our Board of Trustees meet once every quarter (for approximately 2 hours). Trustees are responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the Charity. Some Trustees volunteer additional time to sit on either the Resident or Buildings Sub-Committees (these committees also meet quarterly). Day-to-day management of the organisation is delegated to the Clerk & Chief Officer who is supported by a small team of staff.
There is currently a vacancy for a Trustee to be appointed or a period of four years. The Charity is seeking expressions of interest for this voluntary role from individuals who have a background in finance or social care and / or a sound understanding of the benefit system.
